NEEDS LIST:
Veterans On The Lake Resort operates on user fee and donations, all gifts are greatly appreciated. Items such as paper materials for cabins and office, cleaning supplies, certain foods, all help to support the resort function.
MAJOR NEEDS:
MOST NEEDED ITEMS: Our needs list is extensive, some items are needed more than others. – Just a few items.
Volunteers: Help is always appreciated in all departments and to start new projects and programs.
Vacuum Cleaners – in good working condition. Canister and upright, shop vacs, hokies (with a supply of vacuum bags if needed.), Heavy duty rug shampooer.
Housekeeping – toilet paper (for septic systems), paper towels, rags, disinfectant Lysol, vinyl and latex gloves (all sizes), protective eyewear, knee pads, trash bags: small bath, kitchen, heavy duty 30 gallon trash can, 55 gallon for recycling cans, band aids, gallon size zip lock bags, heavy duty foil, dish soap.
Maintenance – ear plugs, protective eyewear, work gloves, vinyl or latex gloves, knee pads, paint brushes, rollers, pans, masking tape, duct tape, drop cloths, light bulbs (40W, 60W, 75W and 100W), clear shipping tape, scotch tape.
Dietary Services – Individual packets of sugar, mayo, miracle whip, ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, salt, pepper, salad dressings, creamers, tea, jellies, peanut butter, canned tuna and canned fruit juices, powdered lemonade, wild rice, Spanish rice, white rice, zip lock sandwich bags, 18” foil wrap, plastic wrap, freezer paper.
Office Supplies – Printer cartridges (call for types), fax cartridges (call for types), Avery Labels #8460, copy machine paper (all colors) and copy machine toner (call for type).
