Donor Acknowledgements and Gift Giving

Veterans on the Lake Resort are not federal, state or county funded. We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all who assisted in helping us serve veterans each and every year. This is a very large project and in order for us to keep our user fees reasonable we need everyone’s help. Thank you to each individual that has donated money, put us in your will, put us on your life insurance policies, property, have used us for your very special memorials, in kind donations, products, and of course all the volunteers. A special thank you to every organization that has donated money helped us with the many different types of fundraisers throughout the year. Remember you are our present, our future and the foundation of our success.

Any items brought to Veterans on the Lake that are not up to the above standards will be refused and you will need to take back. We reserve the right to refuse any donation.

Potential donors are encouraged to call and talk to Debbie Schaper, Business Manager prior to donating any large or small object not specifically identified as a need on the needs web page. For those items not specified aove a picture of the item would be appreciated.
